in high school, i was taking a test in my toughest class with a SUPER strict teacher. we’re scattered around the room at lab tables and chairs, working in dead silence. suddenly, someone’s phone starts going off, some random japanese pop song. everyone’s looking around. i realize after a FULL MINUTE OF IT GOING OFF AND MY TEACHER GETTING CRAZY PISSED THAT NO ONE IS TURNING IT OFF that it’s the theme song to an anime i used to watch and rush over to my bag to check if it’s somehow my phone….and of course it is. my friend had stolen my phone during lunch, put the song on my phone, and set it as an alarm to go off later in the day.
there was this one religious scene girl at a church i used to go to. apparently her parents didn’t like the way she dressed or the music she listened to, so she got on the church podium one day (in front of everyone) and told her parents that she didn’t choose the scene life, the scene life had chosen her. her parents went to hug her and they cried as a family
